Samantha is a proven spa manager, trainer, retailer, therapist, and one of Asia’s most experienced spa consultants. She is qualified in a wide range of health and beauty therapies, with hands-on operational experience spanning all aspects of today’s Wellness industry.

As an independent consultant since 2002, Sam has worked on all types of spas across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Sam was a contributing writer to the world’s first spa textbook (The Measure of Pleasure – Understanding the Global Spa Industry, Elsevier, 2008) and is the author and lecturer of several spa business courses, including Spa Development and Spa Management, having taught hundreds of international students through Chiva-Som Academy over the last eight years. Sam has been instrumental in the set-up of five national spa associations, and was founding Chairman of the APSWC for its first three years: a role for which she has received two prestigious awards, “Most Distinguished Industry Leader” (Spa Asia Crystal Awards 2007) and “Spa Personality of the Year” (Asia Spa 2007 Baccarat Awards).
