GREG PAYNE Amanresorts International Spa Operations Director

Greg has been working in spa and wellness for more than ten years. In 2001, Greg moved into spas full time taking on the role of GM for Amrita Spa, Raffles City and also as the corporate spa director for Raffles. During that time, Greg opened spas in Quito (Ecuador) Montreux (Switzerland) Los Angeles (USA) and operated a total of ten spas for Raffles International.

Greg then developed the Chuan Spa brand for Langham hotels prior to joining IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). Spending five years with IHG, Greg developed the branding and development strategy for the group, opening a total of 35 spas across Asia Pacific and worked on the global strategy for the InterContinental brand.

After that, he spent time in N America researching wellness at Hippocrates Health Institute, Esalen and other reputed institutes across the States before returning to open Verita Advanced Wellness here in Singapore in January 2011. Greg now works with Aman Resorts looking after spas in their 23 locations globally.
