Media registration at Wellness Summit 2011 is complimentary to accredited media. These include reporters, editors and accompanying photographers in recognized broadcast, print or Internet media organizations. Please review our media prerequisites below. The event organizer has the sole prerogative to exercise discretionary right to extend invitation to selected media delegates to Wellness Summit 2011.
- Accreditation and Discretion
Accredited media delegates will be issued Media badges which they are required to wear at all times during the event.
However, free access warrants discretion too. Media delegates are advised to seek prior permission before making audio and video recordings of any session so as to avoid disruption to the proceedings. Such recordings are for reference purpose only and not to be broadcast (from hereon to refer to both cyber & air space) without prior written approval / permission of the speaker/s and event organizer. A courtesy extended through an alert (to the parties above) of impending / scheduled broadcast of the aforementioned recordings will be highly appreciated.
Interviews may be conducted subsequent to sessions, and done at the discretion of the speakers, panelists or their staff. Pre-session interviews should be avoided. A media centre will be made available and a media Liaison person will be on hand to attend to media needs.
- Pre-registration
We strongly encourage media to pre-register for the event. Only online registration will be considered. Media badges will not be issued in advance. All pre-registered media should plan to pick up their materials on-site at the media centre. An email confirmation will be sent to media members who meet Wellness Summit 2011 requirements. Media delegates attending the Wellness Summit 2011 are entitled to the following:
Media Badge - 3-Day Pass
- Access to all conference sessions and talks.
- Scheduled lunches and tea breaks at function venues (breakfast not inclusive).
- Dinner pass for The Crystal Awards Gala Night.

Note:
Accommodation, unscheduled meals, hotel incidental charges, air tickets, airport taxes and travel/health insurance are not included in the above package.

- Restrictions
Soliciting or accepting orders for any product or service, including advertising space, at the Summit or any other part of the event area is prohibited. Distribution of your organization's promotional material also is prohibited. A history of being registered at previous Wellness Summit events does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement. Misconduct or misrepresentation of position and/or publication/news organization may bar you and your organization from all future events.
Wellness Summit 2011 reserves the right to deny, refuse, or revoke media badges during pre-registration as well as on-site. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
